We have had this pony for 2 years having bought him with the intention he would be a lead rein pony for my 6 year old granddaughter. Unfortunately he is simply too strong on the lead rein and is therefore not suitable as a lead rein pony or a first ridden.
We have recently introduced him to more fun activities and he is proving to enjoy these.
He would make a great second pony for a confident and competent child or light weight adult. As he is not suitable for my granddaughter, lightweight adults have been riding him for this advert and have said what a fun pony he is. He doesn’t buck, rear or nap when ridden. He enjoys being ridden and kept busy. With time this talented pony will turn his hand to any activity (Dressage, jumping, games, hacking) but he is by no means ready made. Good points: Cookie has a cracking jump both SJ and XC and we have taken her to SJ competitions where she has been placed every time and is very good against the clock. She also competed in POG with my then 1yr old daughter and lead rein 40cm with my 5yr old son.

We took her XC schooling and she was fab taking a small adult around the schooling fences then 6yr old jumped for his first ever time XC over the small fences assisted before being sat on by a 2yr old to be led back to the lorry.
She is great to clip, good to load, cheap to keep and is currently barefoot.
Clean limbs and never been sick or sorry.

Bad points:
Unfortunately Cookie has sweet itch but this is easily managed with a rug.

Cookie was a riding school pony with us but unfortunately this is not suitable for her and we are keen to find her a more suitable home.

Due to the busy riding school we do not have time for selling so have significantly reduced the price to be sold as seen from the field which the new price reflects.

Stunning full up 14.2hh registered New Forest gelding, by Buckland Cruiser. Dark
bay, 15yrs old.

I ve had him for less than a year, but due to my injuries (not horse related) I feel he could be having
more fun elsewhere. Gorgeous, affectionate, very easy to do (see note about ears below), great on
roads. I ve only hacked him, but with his last owner he s done clinics, fun rides, SJ and x-country.
Currently lives out, happy alone or in company. Great with the vet and farrier, and fine with crab flies.
Following time off due to dental work, he took time to settle back in to hacking on the forest, but is
now regularly ridden out, and back to his old perfect self.

His only slight issue is he is sensitive about having his bridle put over his ears. This is easily dealt with
by taking the bridle apart to put on, and honestly hasn t been a problem.

Experienced home wanted, would suit an adult or experienced teenager, but must be loved and have
some fun. No loans.

Princess is a very eye catching pony who rakes in the compliments from everyone wherever she goes. She turns her hoof to anything and everything and gives her all everytime.

Tyson has had an exceptional in hand career - multiple wins, champions and supremes including silver medals.

Half brother to HOYS winner Fencers Royal Addition on one side and half brother to RWAS champion Hope Gypsy Queen and RWAS Winter Fair champion Hope Henrietta on the other.

Tyson oozes quality and presence with a fabulous temperament to go with it. He is sure to be a HOYS pony in the future and would make a fab contender for the new coloured junior class. Equally good enough to BD or would make a fab all rounder/happy hacker.

I bought him early last year unbroken and brought him on slowly last summer. He was working well in the school and hacking alone and in company. He was then turned away over the winter and brought back into work earlier this year. He hacks out alone and in company, has seen a variety of farm machinery, traffic and been round the forest, over the downs, country lanes etc.

He s been ridden by my non-horsey other half and a friend s child, proving to be a very genuine boy.

He has popped small fences and is brave and scopey - he s never been pushed but seems to really enjoy it.

Tyson is easy to do, turns out alone or with others. Happily lives in or out, respects electric fence, good to catch, bath, for the farrier, trim, load, travel etc.

Based on the Isle of Wight. Happy to collect from the ferry terminal (25 mins from Southampton or Portsmouth) and can assist in getting him to the mainland.

Southmoor Milo, stable name Jasper

Jasper is a 4 year old Dartmoor Hill pony, 13hh. I brought him end of February this year as a project pony to back and then find him his loving home, prior to this he had lived out for two years in a herd of geldings, so unspoilt. He is happy with both living out and being stabled, currently being stabled at night and out in the field during the day with my young mare.

He is easy to do and a very sweet chap. Having lived out most of his life there are still somethings that make him jump and he is unsure of, but never does anything with it just might flinch or snort. He looks to you to provide him reassurance and the more I do with him the better he gets.

He has been lightly backed since beginning of March, now walking and trotting comfortably in the school under saddle and knows canter on the lunge. He also goes over trotting poles and is now just starting to hack out. I will also be continuing to work on him until he finds his new home so will likely learn more.

He will make a lovely lead rein or first ridden pony, just green at the moment so still needs to learn all of the ropes.
